Definition
Classical OH
Classical OH was defined in 1996 as a decrease in systolic blood pressure (SBP) of >20mmHg or diastolic blood pressure (DBP) ≥10mmHg after 3 minutes of standing or head-up tilt (HUT) ≥60° on a tilt table1
Initial OH
Initial OH is defined as a temporary blood pressure decrease of >40mmHg SBP or >20mmHg DBP within 15 seconds of standing1.
